Using the 3M Fibrlok Fiber Optic Mechanical Splice, you can complete a fiber optic splice within 30 seconds after preparing the ends of the optical fiber.
This Fiber Optic Mechanical Splice has an insertion loss <.2dB, and the optical fiber has a retention of >7.75 lbs. The Fibrlok Fiber Optic Mechanical Splice is known for its low reflection characteristics of -35dB and has a thermal stability of -40°C to 80°C. The Fibrlok Fiber Optic Mechanical Splice is designed to accommodate 250-900µm buffer sizes.
